Build Your Morning Practise Series
Here are all of your exclusive Build Your Morning Practice series classes.
I’ve put these classes together in one location for two reasons:
- So that they’re easily accessible for you, all you need to do is bookmark this one page
- So that you can easily build your morning practice (as promised in the series title!) and put together your favourite classes however you wish to. This will depend on how much time you have each morning and what you feel like you need from day to day
Class 1: Wake Up Your Body
In this class we’re very gently waking up the body with some nice natural and intuitive movement to help shake off any tiredness and stiffness, and get everything moving. Use this video as a starting point to build on, listening to your body’s needs each morning and moving in a way that feels best for you. You’ll probably find that this is different from day to day!
Class 2: Get Everything Moving
I’ve got a short and sweet 15 minute yoga practice for you which is perfect for workers who spend a lot of their day sat at a desk, gently stretching and strengthening your back, neck, shoulders and wrists. This class will leave you feeling truly mentally and physically awake.
Class 3: Start Your Day with Gratitude
In this class we’re introducing the yoga practice of sun salutations which will get your body moving and blood pumping, whilst also creating a deep sense of gratitude.
Doing this practise before heading off to the office will help you to start your day with a positive mindset, and bring it into the rest of your day.
Class 4: Feel Energised
In this class we’re practising an energising breathing technique called Skull Shining Breath which you can use to really give you a boost in the morning so that you can have a productive day. It’s yoga’s answer to coffee!
If this is your first time practising this breathing technique then I highly recommend that you take a look at my Introduction to Breathing Techniques mini series first, particularly Class 5 as it’ll equip you with the knowledge you need to practice safely and comfortably.
Class 5: Feel Present & Ready for Anything
This class is a short meditation practice where we focus our attention on our breath, whilst also mentally repeating the phrase “I am here in this now”. This combination helps you to feel really calm, present, focused and ready for whatever you’ve got coming up in your day ahead.
