Being a sustainable & zero waste business

As someone who is really passionate about sustainability, zero waste and having a positive impact on the planet, my goal is to make Living Green Office Yoga the most sustainable corporate wellness provider in the UK. A goal that I see as exciting and absolutely achievable! 

Travel to all classes by public transport, bicycle or on foot

Ask class attendees to bring their own yoga mat where possible, and make use of existing yoga mats

Save businesses money on eco-friendly yoga mats when needed

Powered by 100% renewable energy

Use Ecosia for my search engine, who give 80% of their profits to conservation organisation

Plant 5 trees for every class I teach

Donate 5% of profits to environmental charities

Share ideas on how individuals and businesses can have more of a positive environmental impact

Don’t buy anything that isn’t 100% necessary, and purchase second-hand wherever possible

Be 100% paperless – I’m almost there, I just have a small amount of printed marketing materials and use pen and paper for note taking

Make my website carbon neutral

All my customers to use eco-friendly mat cleaning (whether it be through my mat cleaning service or not)

Create inspiring sustainability events to get individuals and businesses engaged

The more I learn about sustainability, the more I realise that I can do better, and can help others to do better too. This is an area that I’m constantly growing in and working to improve.
